Week 35: double oops

 I will post on a Monday, i swear i will. But like this week it was an off day and then yesterday was scouts and today was BJJ and etc etc etc…I’ll fix it. Today is Wednesday and not Thursday…so by that pattern i should be back to normal on the 16th…mark your calendars.

Actually that’s kind of what I touched on last week but i severely need to touch on it again. Between chores and family in town and ink therapy i haven’t exactly had the most “by the book” weeks. I’m not getting four lifts in, I’m not getting three BJJ classes in, and I’m certainly not meal prepping as much as I should. Having the wherewithal to call myself out on my slacking: great! Fixing it: not so great. Again it’s hard to antagonize myself considering my excuses have actually been really good and safe reasons, but now that those excuses are out of the way i really REALLY need to get back into a rhythm and get back on track for my larger goals sakes. Step one: admit the problem. Step two: fix problem. We are at like step 1.5 currently so stay tuned.

Yeah dude family in town was hella fun! From watching the Astros and longhorns to taking in a Vibes game (minor league baseball here in the springs) to Sandy’s and pikes peak…it was a loaded few days for sure. Love you guys, thanks for coming up and spending some time with me…don’t get enough of that these days. Outside of that just more chores, meetings, work, and complaining about work. Oh and 1000 medical appointments but what can ya do.

It occurs to me that the way life is right now is the way it’ll be for nine months next year…yeesh…better get used to it. Anyway, forgive yourself and be kind to others…i may not align to any one religion/political party/cult but I’m pretty significantly anti-asshole.
